# Achievement Badges

> Earn badges for streaks, Bible reading milestones, plan completions, and supporting GodFocus. They celebrate your faithfulness on this journey.

# Achievement Badges

Badges celebrate your faithfulness. They are not about performance or competition — they are markers of consistency and dedication in your walk with God. Every badge you earn is a reminder: "I showed up. God met me."

## What Are Badges?

Badges are digital achievements that you earn automatically as you use GodFocus. They appear on your Profile page and celebrate milestones like maintaining a prayer streak, finishing a reading plan, or completing major sections of the Bible.

## How to See Your Badges

Tap the **Profile** tab at the bottom of your screen (the person icon). Your earned badges are displayed there, each showing:

* The badge icon
* The badge name
* The date you earned it
* Whether it has been minted on-chain (if you have a wallet connected)

## All Badge Types and How to Earn Them

### Streak Badges

Streak badges reward you for completing a guided session and journaling on consecutive days. Just keep showing up, day after day, and these badges will come to you.

| Badge              | How to Earn It                                                                                        |
| ------------------ | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **7-Day Streak**   | Complete a session and journal entry for 7 days in a row. Your first full week of daily faithfulness! |
| **30-Day Streak**  | Keep your streak going for 30 consecutive days. That is a whole month of showing up for God.          |
| **90-Day Streak**  | 90 days in a row. That is an entire season of consistent devotion.                                    |
| **365-Day Streak** | A full year with God, every single day. This is a truly remarkable achievement.                       |

<Tip>
  Do not stare at the 365-day badge and feel overwhelmed. Just focus on today. Tomorrow, do it again. The badges will take care of themselves. "His mercies are new every morning" (Lamentations 3:23).

### Bible Reading Badges

These badges celebrate your progress through the Bible using the Reading Tracker.

| Badge                | How to Earn It                                                                         |
| -------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Genesis Complete** | Read all 50 chapters of Genesis and mark them in your Reading Tracker                  |
| **Gospels Complete** | Read all four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John) — 89 chapters total                  |
| **Bible Complete**   | Read every chapter in the entire Bible — all 1,189 chapters from Genesis to Revelation |

### Plan Completion Badge

| Badge              | How to Earn It                                                                            |
| ------------------ | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Plan Completed** | Finish all days in any Bible Reading Plan. Each plan you complete earns a separate badge! |

### Supporter Badges

These special badges are awarded to people who support GodFocus financially.

| **Founding Flamekeeper** | Become a Flamekeeper supporter of GodFocus |
| **Founding Firekeeper**  | Become a Firekeeper supporter of GodFocus  |

  Supporter badges are a special thank-you for helping GodFocus grow. They do not affect any app features — they are simply a mark of honor.

## Do I Need a Wallet for Badges?

**No!** You earn and keep badges regardless of whether you have a Solana wallet connected. Badges always appear on your Profile page in the app.

However, if you **do** connect a Solana wallet, your badges can be minted as **compressed NFTs (cNFTs)** on the Solana blockchain. This gives them a permanent, verifiable record that you truly own. GodFocus covers all minting costs — you never pay anything.

Badges with an **On-chain** label on your Profile have been minted to your wallet.

## How Badges Are Awarded

Badges are awarded **automatically**. You do not need to claim them, request them, or do anything special. When you hit a milestone, the badge simply appears on your Profile. GodFocus checks for new badges after each session, journal save, plan day completion, and reading tracker update.

## A Word of Encouragement

Badges are not the goal — your relationship with God is the goal. But just like a marathon runner appreciates the mile markers along the way, badges are there to encourage you on the journey. Every badge is proof that you are building a real, daily habit of spending time with your Creator.
