Settings

The Settings page lets you customize how and when GodFocus reaches out to remind you to spend time with God.

How to Get There

Open the navigation menu (the hamburger icon) and tap Settings. You can also reach Settings from your Profile page by tapping Daily Reminders.

Daily Reminders

The most important setting in GodFocus is your daily reminder. When enabled, you will receive a push notification at the time you choose, nudging you to open the app and start your session.
1

Toggle Daily Reminders on

Flip the Enable Daily Reminders switch to the on position. GodFocus will ask for notification permission if you have not already granted it.
2

Choose your notification time

Once reminders are enabled, a time picker appears. Select the time you would like to be reminded, in 15-minute intervals (for example, 6:00 AM, 6:15 AM, 6:30 AM, and so on).
3

Verify with a test notification

Tap Send Test Notification to make sure everything is working. You should receive a notification on your device within a few seconds.
Choose a time that fits naturally into your routine — first thing in the morning, during a lunch break, or before bed. Consistency matters more than the specific time.

Smart Reminders

GodFocus reminders are smart. If you have already completed your session for the day, the notification will not just say “Time to pray.” Instead, it will remind you of what God said by sharing the title of your most recent journal entry. It is a gentle way to carry His words with you throughout the day.

Turning Off Reminders

To stop receiving daily notifications, simply toggle Enable Daily Reminders off. GodFocus will clean up your push subscription automatically.

Timezone

Your timezone is detected automatically and displayed below the time picker. Notifications are sent based on this timezone, so your reminder arrives at the right local time.
If you travel to a different timezone, your reminders will still fire at the originally configured time in your home timezone. You can update your reminder time in Settings at any time.

Solana Wallet

At the bottom of the Settings page, you can connect your Solana wallet for identity verification. This is used for blockchain-based badges and supporter features. Tap Connect Wallet to link your wallet address.
